Built for cobots, grippers, and everything that moves.
End-effectors, joint housings, sensor mounts, chassis — weight-optimized and precision-machined. 7075 aluminum, titanium, magnesium, carbon fiber. MOQ = 1, production runs to 5,000.
Robotics prototyping
One engineer owns the job from quote to dock: DFM review before cutting, inspection through the run, and an inspection report in the box.
Robotics part families we build weekly.

Built for cobots, grippers, and everything — questions
What robotics parts does PifyC specialize in?
Core workstreams: end-effector grippers (pneumatic and electric), robot arm joint housings with integrated bearing seats, custom chassis plates and frames, encoder housings, sensor mounting brackets, gearbox housings, and cable management hardware. We work with industrial robot integrators, collaborative robot (cobot) builders, AMR/AGV companies, and academic robotics labs.
Can you machine lightweight structural parts?
Yes. 7075-T6 aluminum is our most popular robotics material for weight-critical structural parts. For extreme weight reduction, we offer DMLS topology-optimized brackets (typically 40% lighter at equal stiffness), and carbon fiber composite sheet machining (3K, 12K woven CFRP). Magnesium AZ31 available for ultralight enclosures.
What tolerances do robotics applications typically need?
Mounting and structural features: ±0.05 mm is usually adequate. Bearing seats and gearbox housings: ±0.01 mm on bore diameters, 0.01 mm cylindricity, 0.01 mm concentricity. Encoder coupling features: often require ±0.005 mm. We use 5-axis machining for complex joint housings to maintain tolerance stack-up in a single setup.
Can you make parts compatible with ROS-standard interfaces?
Yes — we regularly machine parts to fit standard industrial robot flanges (ISO 9409-1 tool-changer patterns), NEMA motor bolt patterns, common gearbox interface patterns (Harmonic Drive, Nabtesco), and UR-series / Franka / KUKA end-effector mounting plates. Send us the interface drawing and we'll design to match.
What about cable routing and strain relief?
We machine custom cable management features directly into chassis plates: cable routing channels, strain relief mounts, grommet holes, break-out patterns for standard connectors (M12, M8, USB-C, HDMI). For sheet metal chassis, PEM-insert threaded inserts for accessible cable clamp mounting.
Do you do low-volume production of robot parts?
Yes — this is our sweet spot. Robotics companies typically need 10–500 parts per SKU, which is ideal for CNC machining economics. We provide dedicated production cells for repeat customers with lot-level traceability and first-article inspection on every batch. Some customers run quarterly releases of 50–200 units of the same part for years.
